Built in 2012 by Cheshire boats, Racy Mole was last blacked in February 2023 and has 8 anodes fitted. Presented in the popular reverse layout, she has a semi trad rear deck with pram hood, as well as a covered front well deck with a glazed cratch board to give uninterrupted views of the canal ahead, as well as letting in plenty of light. Bus-style windows and a side hatch in the living areas add even more light, with portholes servicing the bathroom and cabin. The galley and saloon have solid oak floors and the boat interior is pastel-painted ply. The water tank holds 400l and the diesel tank 180l.

GALLEY: (10ft 4” / 3,15m)

Entering from the rear of the boat, the galley has solid laminate wood counter tops and boasts plenty of under-counter storage on both sides, made up of both cupboards and drawers and all with soft-touch closing. There is a Rangemaster gas oven and grill with a 4 burner hob, a Shoreline fridge with integral freezer compartment and a Beko washing machine. The wall-mounted spice rack and wine rack compliment this area.

Separating the galley from the salon is a breakfast bar with 2 stools.

SALOON: (15ft 6” / 4,7m)

This area, like the galley, has large bus-style windows with blinds and a side hatch to let in plenty of light and air. There is a free-standing settee which can be folded down to provide 2 additional berths, a Villager solid-fuel stove as well as 2 radiators and a Sharp 24” wall-mounted TV.

BATHROOM: (6ft 0” / 1,82m)

Racy Mole has a walk through bathroom featuring a full-size quadrant shower, a Saniflo macerator pump out toilet, a large ceramic hand basin set over a vanity with 2 large drawers, with a mirrored medicine cabinet above. There is a heated towel rail on the wall and the flooring is striped linoleum. There is an emergency Porta Loo on board too.

CABIN: (10ft 0” / 3,05m)

The cabin is carpeted, has a fixed double bed with headboard, cupboards above and reading lights. At the foot of the bed is a large double door cupboard and on the wall opposite the bed is a radiator and a 22”LG TV

WELL DECK (3ft 7” / 1,1m)

The cabin opens out to the covered well deck with clear glazed cratch board and a free standing tables and stools.

ENGINE & ELECTRICS

The vessel is powered by a 35hp Isuzu engine which was last serviced in May of this year and is mated to a PRM 120 gearbox. The engine has 2 alternators and there is a 2,5kw invertor on board. The boat has a calorifier as well as a Webasto diesel heater, 1 starter and 4 domestic batteries, a galvanic isolator and a Victron battery management system.
