NB Kildare

HULL:

Built in 2003 of 10/6/4 with a V bottom and other dimensions which are required for the Monmouth and Brecon canal. She was bought by her current owners in 2013.
She had a hull survey in November 23, the faults reported have been rectified and 2 extra anodes added (6 in total) before she was blacked in the November of 2023. She has a cratch at the front with cover and a pram hood at the back over her cruiser style stern. She is painted in a dark red with a cream coachline, dark blue handrails and roof. Her gold colour windows are double glazed.(except for the port holes)

Height to Cabin Centre 6ft 4” (1.93m)

Saloon (9.8ft/3m) :

This light airy space has large windows and double doors to the front with a single step up. To one side of the door is a solid fuel stove with double walled flue, set on a grey tiled hearth. While on the other side is a half height corner cupboard with a wall mounted TV and shelf above. The rest of the space is left for you to add free standing furniture to you taste, however the own informs me that they have had in turn a sofa bed and two free standing arm chairs with foot stools in the space, over the years.

Galley (6.1ft/1.87m):

There is an open plan “U” shaped galley, to the one side there is a Thetford fitted gas cooker with 4 rings, to the opposite is a shoreline 12v fridge with freezer box both new in 2022. Under the window is a Stainless steel sink. There are a number of bespoke floor cupboards and two small wall units are on the aft bulk head. Opposite the galley are a set of side doors with attractive decoration. Below it is a lift up table with fold up stools stored against to wall under the gunwale. Beyond the galley area is a floor to ceiling cupboard which can be used for additional storage.

Bathroom (2.95ft/.9m excluding shower):

Set in a side compartment is the bathroom it comprises of a Shower cubicle with glazed door, a Thetford cassette toilet with 3 spare cassettes and a corner vanity unit with sink. There is a mirror above on the wall

Bedroom (8.2ft/2.5m):

Comprises of a fixed double be which can be converted in to a super king size bed by the addition of an extra board and mattress infill . Under the bed is additional storage, while at the foot of the bed beside the curved exit stairs is a hanging space/wet locker.

Engine Room & Electrics:

Under the rear deck is a Barrus 25HP engine with a declared running hours of 23588, she was last serviced in June 2023 along with a new drive plate and engine mounts with an aquadrive dry drive.  She has a landline connection with a galvanic isolator, 1 starter and 3 domestic batteries with a battery charger and an inverter. It also has approx. 300w of solar fitted.  Heating and hot water are from the diesel boiler and radiators supplemented by the solid fuel stove in the saloon.

Other Equipment:

2 x 13kg gas bottles, 4 fire extinguishers and a fire blanket, mooring equipment, life ring, water hose and reel.
