NB Alcyone

HULL:

Originally constructed by Mike Christion in 2008 of 10/6/4 steel, this boat has a nice shaped josher bow with large well deck and a semi Trad Stern with Pram hood.  She was last painted in 2018 along with her blacking and fitting of 6 anodes. Her rear doors have been painted with traditional decoration by Phil Speight.

FIT OUT:

She was spray foam insulated and lined out in oak finished ply with oak trim. The floor is laid to cork tiles and lino tiles in the galley and bathroom, a number of mats cover the cork tiles.

SALOON (13.7ft/4.2m):

The large open saloon is set to free standing furniture, with a futon set across the boat, there is a salamander little Range Stove, with large cook top and oven. This is set to the side but in the centre of the lounge on a tiled hearth. There are a set of side doors.

GALLEY (8.85ft/2.7m):

The galley is U shaped The main base unit is made up of a an old dresser unit with open shelves to one side and a custom made unit to the other. The work tops are made of solid oak, inset is a Stainless steel Undermounted sink. There is a Russel Hobbs microwave and a Waeco fridge. There are hanging rails and a couple of open shelves. The one side of the workbench is extended and creates a breakfast Bar. There are two tall bar stools under. Opposite is a set of side doors.

BEDROOM (8.85ft/2.7m):

The fixed bed is set to one side under are two deep drawers while at the foot of the bed is a large wardrobe, on the corridor is a number of shelves.

BATHROOM (5.24ft/1.6m):

The large walk though bathroom consists of a small bath, with shower mixer taps, a vanity unit with Basin set on top and a new porta potti.

BACK CABIN (7.8ft/2.4m):

The rear cabin has been used as a storage and work area by the current owner, there are a number of units with white doors on each side with glazed display cabinets over. There are a set of paddle steps leading to the back deck, while to one side is a cupboard containing all the electrics.

ENGINE ROOM & ELECTRICS

Under the semi trad deck is a Beta 43 With a PRM gearbox, it has a declared running hours of 420 hours. It has a grease lubricated shaft. She has a landline with a galvanic isolator, Ctech m200 battery charger, Stirling inverter ( watts).

OTHER EQUIPMENT:

life ring, Mooring equipment. This is currently a non gas boat but it could be reconnected, if you wish.
