NB Two Jays

HULL:

Built in 2010/2011 this 45ft Cruiser stern narrowboat was originally built in 10/6/4 steel and is painted in dark blue with a cream name panel, her roof is grey, with silver coloured mushrooms and substantial handrails. It was last blacked in 2021.

FIT OUT:

Insulated in spray foam she is fitted out in ash and has a oak floor made from recycled Victorian school floorboards. Lighting is provided by LED Strip Lights., large windows at the bow and portholes to the stern.

BEDROOM (7ft3”/2.2m):

Entering from the rear deck down a number of external steps and a singe internal step, to the side is a large cupboard. There is then a cross bed which doubles as a large seat in the daytime, it is upholstered in a cream velour.

BATHROOM (6ft 7”/1.7m):

The walk though bathroom has two doors on the corridor side which can be closed to create a very large bathroom, set in a compartment is a Thetford Cassette toilet, a corner vanity unit with a round set on sink and a glazed quadrant shower, the walls of the shower are covered in a grey marble wet walling.

GALLEY (6ft3”/1.9m):

The galley kitchen is an L shape with a raised breakfast bar to the other side with red bar stools and shallow cupboards underneath.

As you enter the galley to the one side is a floor to ceiling cupboard, housing the fridge, a large cutlery drawer, eye level oven and grill and a high level microwave. Under the window the is the sink and 3 burner hob set in a black and gold marbled worktop, under are a number of cupboards. The walls have a black metro style tiles for the splash back and the gas hob is shielded from the saloon by a glass panel.

SALOON (11ft/3.35m):

The open saloon is set to free standing furniture and mainly comprises of a large grey sofa, there are also 2 folding directors chairs. There is a cupboard to one side with the Tv. To exit in to the bow is a single step and two partially glazed doors.

ENGINE ROOM (3ft 10”/ 1.15m)& ELECTRICS

Under the rear deck the engine room houses a Isuzu engine last serviced in 2022, with a declared running hours of 1,300. There is a land line connection with galvanic isolator and battery charger, and inverter. She has 1 starter and 2 leisure batteries. There is a diesel boiler heating 2 radiators and providing hot water along with an immersion heater in the calorifier.

2 x 13kg , life ring, water hose with reel, maps and guides, kitchen inventory, wet & Dry Vacuum.
