OVERVIEW:

This fine vessel was originally constructed of 10/6/4 steel by Norton Cane boatbuilders. She was last blacked in 2023. She has a 200 gallon (750 litre) water tank and a 50 gallon (190 litres) diesel tank. Her traditional feel is complemented by the pigeon box, the boatman’s cabin, the traditional interior artwork by Phil Speight and of course, the Gardner 2LW engine.

The interior fitout features slid oak bulkheads and under gunwhales. The floor is laid to blue carpet tiles with linoleum in the kitchen. The roof was last repainted in 2024 and the sides in 2010. She was had a full out-of-water survey in September 2024. Hot water is provided by the diesel fired Webasto or the engine. There are 7 radiators/fin rads on board. Head height is 6ft 4”

SALOON: (13ft 4”)

The well deck is 5ft long and is covered by a cratch cover with glazed cratch board, bench seating on either side with storage under and a folding table. Stepping inside, we enter the saloon with storage units on either side which also house a radio/CD unit and a 31” Sharp TV with Maxview aerial. There are 2 comfortable, free-standing leather seats and a convenient folding table. Moving further aft towards the galley, we find a folding dining table with a banquette and 2 folding chairs, providing a very comfortable area for relaxing and entertaining.

GALLEY: (8ft)

The walk-through galley is very well appointed with lots of storage and every possible convenience, including a Vanette 4 burner gas hob, Vanette oven/grill, Shoreline fidge/freezer, a microwave oven and a Zanussi Aquacycle 1300 washing machine. There is a side entrance for light, air and access.

BEDROOM: (9ft 10”)

The main cabin has an extremely comfortable double cross bed with fitted sideboard/cupboards on either side and a large storage cupboard with both shelving and hanging space.

BATHROOM: (4ft 6”)

The bathroom has a generous shower area over beautiful wooden duckboards and a curtained surround. The toilet is a macerator pump-out and the handbasin on pedestal has a mirror over and a handy medicine cabinet.

Engine Room & Electrics (6ft):

The engine room has side hatches on either side and houses the magnificent 1959 Gardner 2LW diesel engine and the MG5061 twin disc gearbox, both of which were completely reconditioned in 1992. There are 2 alternators (80A and 100A) and the controls are speedwheel.

There are 2 starter and 4 domestic batteries which were all replaced in 2022, an Adverc battery management system, galvanic isolator and a new invertor which was fitted in 2022.

Back Cabin (6ft 8”)

There are 2 single berths in the boatman’s cabin with a large storage cupboard at the head of each bed.
