A highly individual narrow boat, being a replica of a British Waterways’ work boat of the 1970’s with a modern ‘take’ on a back-cabin and a long cargo hold under black covers. Ideal for an enthusiast or a canal trader. Original hull thicknesses: 8mm bottom and sides, 4mm cabin-top. Squared-off bow and stern design. Last blacked August 2016. 4 anodes. 50gal approx s/steel water tank. 135L fuel tank. 2 bull’s-eye roof lights. Brass equipment rack with brass portholes, she is painted with a grey roof, black sides, grey panels with cream coach lines and black sheets over cargo area.
Headroom of approx 5’11” in back-cabin increasing to approx 6’3” in cargo hold. Waxed ash to deck-head, sides & bulkheads. Solid timber fitted furniture. Wood plank effect vinyl flooring on marine ply in back cabin and planked floor in cargo area.
Entrance from the stern is down three steps. On your left is a traditional-style “Epping” solid-fuel cooking range on a raised & tiled hearth. Opposite is a shelved cupboard housing the stainless steel sink and strainer and open shelved unit. Beyond are 2 upholstered side banquettes, storage under, usable as a dinette with the demountable timber table or converting to 2 single beds with adjustable bed-head lighting. Overhead lockers on both sides.
Beyond is a walk through toilet. Starboard side: curtained shower cubicle. Port side: stainless-steel corner wall-basin and space for a cassette toilet.
Long, completely clear fore-well, with a timber floor. Fully covered with black, multi-zippered, fitted vinyl sheeting supported by sturdy but easily demountable steel framing and in filled with white painted timber panels. Doors to under foredeck area containing water tank. Solid back-end with solid, stable-type doors leading to back cabin.
