Hull by Black Country Narrowboats
Built by Black Country Narrowboats who were best known for building “NB Ragdoll” her style is based on the traditional motor tug style boats of the 1920’s. She has graceful lines and her bow glides gracefully through the water. Painted in a black and Grey livery with red coach lines and red handrails and brass portholes.
She was last surveyed in 2015 and was blacked July 2019.

Insulated with rockwool the ceiling is a tongue and groove varnished in a rich brown and upper sides are in tongue and grove, which has been recently painted in an off white colour, below the gunnel is a sage grey colour. The floor is a rustic plank. Giving it a real cottage feeling.
Entrance is through partially glazed stable front doors and down a set of steps. In to the large homely saloon, with leather armchairs a free standing tv unit with TV, the central focal point is the morso squirrel stove.
This” L” shaped kitchen flows on from the saloon. With a tiled work top and painted kitchen cupboards in sage grey and white, there is a vannette full sized cooker and separate 4 ring gas hob and a small fridge, in the cupboard is a microwave. On the wall is a number of cupboards and a Paloma hot water heater is cleverly disguised. Over the inset sink is a set of side doors. On the opposite side is an attractive red free standing cupboard with wooden chopping board.
A short corridor runs past the bathroom to the bedroom, it has a set of side doors with roof hatch , opposite is the bathroom. This compact bathroom has all you need with a curtained shower tiled with rich blue tiles, a thetford cassette toilet with spare cassettes and a small corner vanity unit with sink. The walls and ceiling are in a varnished T and G.
Bedroom (6ft4”/1.97m): Beyond the bathroom is a bedroom with fixed double with open storage under, there are two wall mounted reading lamps. There are 2 portholes and a pigeon box for extra light. At the foot of the bed is a shelf, there is a step up and door to the engine room.
The engine room houses a nanni kabota diesel engine with hurth gearbox. The engine has had a substantial amount of work done on it for the current owners. There is a 1000w inverter, battery charger a landline connection with galvanic isolator. She has 1 starter battery and 2 domestic batteries.
