This is the 10th of our hugely popular working narrowboats rally - the UK's largest! Well over 80 historic boats gather and take part in parades with commentary - stirring stuff!
Guest of Honour at the opening ceremony on Saturday morning is the actress GAYLE HUNNICUTT whose association with us goes back to the 1970 thriller 'Running Scared' filmed mainly in Braunston. She will be at the helm of 'Nutfield' and towing 'Raymond', both famous Braunston Blue Line boats.
There is a real ale beer tent, exhibitors, traders & waterways artists, an open air Songs of Praise church service on Sunday, live music from bands & groups, Morris dancing, fast food, boat horse demonstrations, a theatrical presentation
- in fact FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY -
Admittance is free but if you bring your car there is a parking fee of £10.
ALL profits go to canal & local causes.
