HULL: Built by Colecraft this 42ft traditional boat is painted in green and cream with red coach line’s. It has a number of unusual features in keeping with its steamboat properties with a diesel tank in the bow, side doors in the engine room a bolted plate on the roof to allow access to the engine and boiler. 


FIT OUT: Fitted out by the original owner, stepping on this boat is like walking back in time, it oozes charm and character with scumble glazed panels, traditional roses and castles, delicate oil lamp style light fittings and solid fuel stoves to keep you warm.

FOREDECK : Forward deck contains fuel tank, deck with two lockers containing batteries and mooring equipment. Covered by black cratch cover with zipped access.

GALLEY: Stepping in from the front cratch covered area through two solid doors down in to the galley dining area. Which has a small pullman style dinette to the one side, opposite sits a Stratford solid fuel range cooker.  There is a small prep area with painted units housing the s/s sink with brass hand pump over. Underneath is a cupboard and a small Electrolux fridge. Natural light is provided by portholes and a pigeon box whilst in the evening a number of gas style wall lights provide you with light.

TOILET: Access is though a scumble glazed door. This toilet is tiled in attractive blue and white tiles housing a small vanity unit with sink, again with a brass hand pump. Above is a wall unit with concealed mirror and brass lamp. A porta potti is positioned to the other end on top of wooden panel which hides the shower tray beneath. To the side of the bathroom is a full height wardrobe, with hanging rail and shelf.

SALOON: The saloon doubles up as the sleeping area, the sofa extending to become a double bed, with storage under.  The walls have decorative turned posts creating the panels which are decorated with floral paper. Two large decorative gas style wall lights provide light for the cabin and a small stove provides heat.  A number of small shelves offer some handy storage, for maps and guide books. 

ENGINE ROOM & ELECTRICS: Oil fired condensing boiler built by Kew Bridge powering a 4” by 4” Sissons single cylinder steam engine.  A Windemere Kettle and steam whistle.  Pressure gauges are fitted both inside and out to assist with the running. 

  Solar panels, Boat hook, boarding plank. Mooring equipment and windlasses are included.
